Year 1 had a fantastic time using talk4writing in their English lesson as part of their Fantastic Forests topic.They learnt the text by creating and rehearsing actions for the non-fiction book 'Amazing trees'.

Year 1 created some impressive artwork using the leaves they had found and learned about during their first week of their Fantastic Forests topic!The children used a range of leaves from Sycamore to Ivy to create beautifully colourful leaf rubbings with wax crayons.

🍃🌳 We're Going on a Leaf Hunt! 🍃🌳

As part of their Fantastic Forests topic, Year 1 went on an exciting leaf hunt within the school grounds, during their Science lesson!  

  They saw some interestingly shaped leaves during their leaf hunt!
