As part of our topic 'Fantastic Forests' year one have planted a new hedge for our school perimeter. The trees were sent by the Woodland Trust as part of their free trees for schools and communities project. We have planted dog rose, hawthorn, hazel, crab apple and dogwood trees. We worked really hard to dig our holes in the ground to plant our trees.
Well done to Miss Taylor for getting the trees from the Woodland Trust to plant in our woodland area. How lovely to see the children so involved in their topic and engaging so practically in their learning.
