📏Measuring length in Year 1📏
Year 1 started Summer term with a bang 💥, as they did some outdoor learning in Maths today! The children explored measurement of length and height using non- standard units.
They measured a range of things including themselves, using cubes, straws and even their hand- spans!
Can you guess your height in straws? 😋
What a fabulous use of non-standard units to measure everyday objects. Lovely to see you using the outside classroom. Keep it up, Year 1.
